Radiesse is a hydoxylapitate filler used in many body regions, including the skin. Urologist use in the bladder, GI use in the esophagus, dentists use in the mouth to help implants. ENT's use in vocal folds to augment a weak vocal cord.
We use it in the face, especially in the naso-labial region for longer lasting filler effect. The material is thicker than Juviderm or Restylane and does require local anesthesia.
